Learning to Cope

I want to learn how to cope, in uncertain times. The USSA is already becoming third-world, and wants us Bally Brits to follow suit. The possibility of financial, economic and social meltdown is the elephant in the room. And, whoever gets elected, we could turn into a rump.

The ex-US Servicemen want to remain the spearhead of civilization, even though they helped open the Box of Pandora in War. But, there is a general ignorance and indifference towards coping with organised chaos. It's time we fought fire with fire.

I ordered a ton of PDF documents outlining how Americans coped during the Great Depression, as well as the growing reality of food shortages. In this world of sink-or-swim, I choose to swim.

  • Who knows what will happen. It does look like things are becoming unstable and the west is collapsing in real time. But I honestly don't know what the world will be like in 2030.

    There are some things you could do, but how much you can prepare for collapse or globalist authoritarianism or whatever happens in the next 10 years will depend on your own situation.

    For example:

    • having an emergency fund
    • stockpiling staples (tins/rice etc), this also allows you to cope with supply and price fluctuations which have been happening a lot due to global events in the last few years
    • buying gold
    • having torches, candles, matches
    • moving out of cities
    • arming yourself
    • buying land that allows you to support yourself in some way (e.g. space to keep chickens or grow vegetables)
    • physical books on topics such as foraging or identification of foods or repairing cars

    But it's also possible that things get so bad that even the above don't help, or that nothing at all happens and in 15 we are all living luxurious lives with AI butlers.
