Similar to some other parents, we have just found ourselves in a situation when our lovely 4 years old has been diagnosed with autism. She does not talk like us, she says some words on her own way, but not all the time. For example she says kiss like 'iss' or call orange 'porche' can count till 10, but not pronouncing the words properly, or she can say bye. I am just petrified of 'if's. What if she will never talk? She doesn't respond to sign, pecs etc. I have heard about sound therapy, but I am not sure if it's a real solution. Could you please give me some advice and maybe share your experience. Whether you have met with similar speaking pattern if I can say like this.
