What did you get for Christmas?

I got three things in total - two books and a giant bear lol Laughing 

I love reading, I love books, I'll normally get books for Christmas. My family have a rule that we don't go overboard with gifts. We buy each other three things and no going too expensive, hard to in the current expensive times.

The books I was bought was the first Game of Thrones book and omg I'm so happy I also got The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern, a book I've read many, many, many times before and did have a copy but I dropped it and it was ruined. I was literally over the moon to receive it today!

Then there's the big bear. I'm not sure where I'll put her but I'll try my best to squeeze her into my bedroom, somehow, someway.

Parents

  • My Tenant, at the rental in my Parish, gave me Art Supplies; I had given her an Angel Plaque, made from Horseshoes.

    My Artist friend gave me three LPs; a reissue of 'Closer' by Joy Division, and two originals from his own personal collection. 'The Colour of Spring' by Talk Talk and 'MTV Unplugged in New York' by Nirvana. (I gave him an ashtray shaped like a horses leg)

    Yesterday, relatives of mine gave me Dove for Men deodorant, and shower gel.

    That all sounds nice to receive. I would like the Joy Division vinyl too. I like their music and have been a fan of theirs since I first heard my dad playing one of their records. Love Will Tear Us Apart is a frequent song in my playlist. I also liked Paul Young's cover of this song, I thought he sang it with a lot of soul and feeling.
