Does anyone else struggle with wrapping Christmas presents?

I find wrapping presents one of the worst parts of Christmas. I try and try but I can't get it right, the paper tears, or the wrapping looks terrible like no effort was actually put into it whereas in reality so much time and effort was put into it.

I always end up ruining Christmas wrapping... I spent the entire day on wrapping earlier and it's done now, but, looks terrible.

I suppose this is to do with my autism and lack of coordination and being able to make my hands work properly. I find it very irritating.

  • My worst incident with wrapping presents happened many years ago with my nephew's birthday present.  I wrapped it with the fancy paper that I had.  I think my nephew was seven at the time.  My niece who was ten declared that it was wrapped with Christmas wrapping paper and started teasing him that it wasn't a proper birthday present.  He started crying and wouldn't stop. The more he cried the more she teased him.
