Videos that make you laugh.

Laughter is the best medicine. Stuck out tongue

So this thread is for the videos that make you laugh.

I'm a big fan of the 80s series Only Fools and Horses... I watch it all throughout the year and even on days I feel lower than low it still makes me laugh.

This is my favourite scene/video from the entire series. I read in David Jason's autobiography that he only just kept a straight face because Buster Merryfields gasps of horror were so funny.

This is another thing I love to watch and never fails to make me laugh.

He was a sheer comedic genius. My mum loved him in everything he was ever in.

  • I love Elvis Presley. I own many of his records and have a few collectibles. I'll see if I can add pictures.

My favourite singer. My Gran was a big Elvis fan and got me in to his music when I was about 9. I'm 27 now and still a huge fan!

  • Peter Capaldi had some funny moments as the 12th Doctor. I thought he was one of the best of the modern Doctors, it's just a shame the writing was getting bad in his series.

  • This never fails to make me laugh... Home Alone, the best of Marv. Sweat smile

  • Elvis has been a life long education, last month, for the first time since before covid I ventured into London to visit the Elvis exhibition. It was brilliant, all the exhibits are  on loan from Gracelands.

  • This is one of my favourite Doctor Who scenes. Always makes me smile Slight smile

  • Comedy is my favourite thing to watch. Have you seen Blackadder? That's really good. Blackadder 2 and 3 are the best.

I like to watch The Big Bang Theory - my favourite - and I watched the first Christmas episode today.

I also like The Office US, Brooklyn Nine Nine, My Family and Gavin & Stacey.

    I love comedy!!

  • Porridge and Open All Hours are great series. Ronnie Barker was an excellent actor, one of the very best in my opinion. I also liked David Jason in The Darling Buds of May - I like him in everything he's been in to be honest, a bit like Elvis he's one of my special interests. When I was working I used to bore my colleague Rebecca with endless info dumping lol. Interesting as well that David Jason was from a working class background and reached such heights - I love it! He's so humble as well, a truly sweet person from what I've read of him. I would love to meet him but I think the excitement would cause me colossal heart failure.

  • John Sullivan was a scene shifter on Porridge, he wrote a sketch about a London wide boy, he showed it to Ronnie Barker. David Jason was playing the part of Blanco in Porridge, it’s where the three of them met, Ronnie and David then went onto ‘Open all Hours’.

  • I know it's incredible really. I've read all of David Jason's books, makes interesting reading and you learn a lot - there's a lot of mention of Ronnie Barker who was important to him and guided him in the early days of his career.

  • He spent all of his working life in banking, he only ever did am-dram until Only fools, David Jason was the third choice to play Del.

  • Am I Allowed to Eat The Box - Hannah Gadsby

A great and relatable example of autistic literalism!

  • He was absolutely priceless!

This is one of my favourite scenes with him...

    Rofl

  • One night it was so cold, the flame on me lighter froze!
    Boomerang Trotter they called me.

  • I loved the whole cast of Only Fools. I think Uncle Albert was my favourite. During the war... Rofl

  • I am a big fan of OFAH, I’ve often studied Lennard Pearce, his timing with a ‘ one liner’ was brilliant.

This is someone who I loved watching as a child, the amazing Peter Sellers,
