Oh Fiddlesticks

This is just so typical of me... Face palm

Earlier this evening I succeeded in writing out a pile of Christmas cards for my relatives and friends. Great!

As it is more convenient for me to print my own postage labels, I then signed into my Royal Mail account to get the postage sorted and paid. Unfortunately, when I went to retrieve my supply of self-adhesive printer labels to load into my printer, I realised I didn't have enough. This was not so great.

Admittedly, this is not the end of the world because I can just print onto normal printer paper, and use sellotape to secure my labels to the envelopes. It's just the fact that it tends to look less aesthetically pleasing.

The logical thing would (of course) have been for me to check I had enough printer labels BEFORE I had signed into my Royal Mail account. D'oh!

As the saying goes, we live and learn, although in my case that's debatable sometimes. Lol.

  • We've all been there lol. We live and intend to learn. Stuck out tongue closed eyes

At least your Christmas cards are done and ready for dispatch though. There are positives here. Not so long ago I was making a cup of tea, put in the milk, got my spoon, and biscuit and then opened the tea pot and - no tea bags!

Oh no! Go to the cupboard, the box of tea bags is there - breathe sigh of relief. Open the box and

It's empty. This is me and my house, so naturally it's not really a surprise I put an empty box back.

Lol live and learn, hopefully. And I did from that experience, it hasn't happened since though that's not to say it won't again.

  • I'm not a tea drinker, but if I were, it would be the end of the world if I discovered I had an empty box of teabags. Laughing

My son, however, does drink tea. He too is prone to putting empty boxes back in the cardboard. Lol.

Lol believe me, from a tea devotee it is definitely the end of the world! Stuck out tongue

I put an empty tooth paste box back and this morning discovered it was empty. I did have a spare it turns out but at the time I was really annoyed with myself lol.
