I was listening to an audiobook earlier. I find them relaxing and fun but this thread is also if you're listening to music or if you're just listening to the rain falling outside... Slight smile

  • That’s a great fact, didn’t know that! I was a short time listening to a podcast that goes through the wonderful M.R.  James short stories one by one. I’d taken a long break from it but as the days shorten I feel drawn back to its lightly spooky but cosy atmosphere. And the two hosts are always very amusing as well as informative so it’s a gentle but thought-provoking listen. 
     
    I have days where I simply must hear music, and others where spoken word is almost all I can handle. Today was more the latter. Now I’m just listening to the house settling as I try to get sleepy enough to go over…
