What have you been up to today?

As the title says...

Well today I had high hopes of achieving a lot. I've got a classic 1983 BMW E series - E30 - which I've been restoring and had intended to replace the fuel lines today and also replace the exhaust for stainless steel, but, it never happened.

It's sat there abandoned all day.

However... I have at least done some work on my Volvo estate today. It's the GLE and a really nice one too. I refurbished all the seats recently and today fitted them back in, more fiddly than hard. All done now. I've also given it a service - new oil, new water, new plugs, new oil filter and gave the tyres air as they were getting a bit flat.

Started it and purred to life. It hasn't sounded so good in a long time. I'm one happy chappy now!

  • Sorting out my Artist friend. He's still waiting for the Plumber - which I got, for him, on Saturday - to come and install a plastic water tank; his pipes burst on Saturday morning.

    Hope was out, while I was away, and came back; running towards me through the hedge, from a neighbouring field. I was s**tting bricks with worry; about her. (the road where I live is Hella busy)
