I have recently met some families with young children with Autism and Asbergers. It has been such a delight to see how these childrens have come out of themselves just by being involved with riding and handling of my Shetland Ponies. I intend doing some mre research on his issue as to why they connect so well with my four legged friends.

    I have noticed since i read monty roberts books.

    that autistic kids acts very similler, head down,no eye contact,and walk square on.O.k this might sound all horse talk but if you read montys books about  horses,you will notice.

    This is why my autistic child gets on so well with our horses,he knows (can read)the language of the equine,like monty roberts,this has tought me alot too about kids and horses.

    this discovery has made a big differance to our lives.
