i take your point about official communication, they should be written correctly.

i usually apologise in advance for my poor spelling, i never worry about it though.

when first assessed at uni the councillor made it clear my trouble is neurolgical and can't be helped.(very poor short term memory function).

i would like to thank you for being understanding and also for the supportive comment.

I am very pedantic about spelling and grammar (that's not to say I never make typos myself!) but strangely I don't tend to dwell on peoples' errors online, although I notice them I am more interested in reading and processing what it is they are saying.  Incorrect spelling annoys me far more when it's in official letters (and from schools, who should know better!).  Don't worry about your spelling.
