cycling, gets me around

i got a bike for my 50th birthday and now 5 years later i own 5.

guess they became my latest obsession, 2 road bikes (bianchi & trek), two hybrids and a mountain bike.

cycling keeps me fit, i can do it on my own and saves me money commuting.

i love cycling in france during the summer, i usually push 40-60 km on a ride, i find it rewarding.

before the bikes i was a cheese anorak, that was a fattening past time but enjoyable and tasty.

  • I have a very scruffy bicycle which I got from a jumble sale for £8! I would like to get it spruced up a bit but I have had it out twice over the last few weeks. There is a bicycle maintenance club started up in a community centre not too far from me so I would like to go along (when it's not pouring with rain) and see if I can get some advice. The centre also runs a cycling morning on Saturdays.

I admire you going abroad to cycle!
