Tech help, please - Can I link this account to my old one?

Hiya,

Back in October, the site wouldn't let me log in and the 'forgotten your password' link didn't seem to work. I emailed NAS asking them to send me a password reset, but no reply. So now I've created a new account using an email address that I never use.

Has anyone else has similar problems?

Also, if there are any tech-minded people out there - is is possible for me to reactivate my old account (or link this one to it) as I never check this email address - it's my junk one...

Thanks Slight smile

  • Don't quote me on this, but I think it should be possible for your other account to be reactivated, and possibly even linked to this new one.

However, as this is something that NAS would need to do at their end, it would be a matter of emailing communitymanager@nas.org.uk and asking.

In addition to including the details of the e-mail address used with your previous account, it might be helpful for them if you also include the unique NAS ID (NAS number) assigned to you when both accounts were created. To find out your NAS ID, if you hover over your profile pic, you should see a link (likely to be in the bottom-left of your screen), which will look like this:

    community.autism.org.uk/.../nas89858

Your NAS ID for this (your most recent account) is: nas89858.

To find out the NAS ID for your previous account, you will need to search for posts dating back to when you were using that account.

I hope I have explained this in a way that makes sense and is easy to follow. Thinking
