Bitcoin question.

I wish to be able to receive bitcoin in payment for my sexual and other services when requested in addition to the normal payments of kittens high voltage measuring equipment or gold that I normally insist on receiving as payment.

Every time I've tried an advertised service, it has asked me for so much personal data that it is an unacceptable threat to my current "non person" status.

Does anyone here know, and have the inclination to explain what steps I and my customers have to take in order to make bitcoin yet another reason to take my clothes off...

(Obviously there's some blunt comedy here) And the truth is more likely to be that I'm trying to sell a room full of radio control gear and related stuff in one hit, and being able to take payment in BTC might make the impossible task a bit easier and quicker to accomplish in the current economic landscape...

All those BTC miilionaires who bought at the start have trouble spending it, you now..

  • I had the same confusion not long ago and what helped was figuring out how to use axiom trade properly. It’s pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it—you make an account, go through the ID check, then you can buy or sell bitcoin directly. The layout didn’t overwhelm me, and I found the process smooth after the first try.

  • I see it's been a while since you posted, but I just wanted to ask—have you had any updates or thoughts on this since then? I've been wondering, with all the recent changes in crypto, if anyone here uses Bitcoin more as an experiment or hobby rather than for investing. It's a lot to take in, and it'd be great to hear if anyone found a simple way to get started.

  • Accepting Bitcoin as payment can definitely add some flexibility, especially if you’re trying to offload a bunch of gear. The best way to start is by setting up a wallet that doesn’t require too much personal info—something like Electrum or a hardware wallet for extra security. You can share your wallet address with buyers, and they’ll just send the BTC straight to you. No need for all the personal details that traditional services ask for. As for expanding beyond Bitcoin, I’ve found Solana Scripts helpful when dealing with multiple cryptocurrencies. They let you manage tokens and boost volume without the hassle.

  • Talking to bots again mate?  Therein, the path to madness leads! Trust me...I'm certifiable!

  • Hello gailhunter, I'm bot hunter.

    You're cooked.

  • ah now this thread has came back again i have thought of a good idea from bitcoin.

after getting a flat i see the flats have a management company run by the owners and have a sinking fund, a large bank account stored with all the savings from our service charge to pay for big maintainance jobs.... the risk is we cant see that, we cant see transactions... whoever appoints themselves director could very well steal that and run as its likely larger amount than anyone personally has. no protection, easy to run off with.

now if it was bitcoin.... wed all be open and able to see the transactions on the chain ourselves, the movements of it, if anyone moves it or spends it. its all public.... now bitcoin would be bad to have our funds in as it needs to be a stable currency.... but it would likely be good if fiat currency adopted this, made it so everything is public and open to see on these type of accounts, so we can all view the movement of the money in our sinking fund and management company accounts so we can monitor how our money is spent and see at the very second someone tries to withdraw and run off with it.

  • Can you supply any links to any bitcoin service that doesn't require a photo of my passport?

  • I'm fishing mate.

You know, I'm an old bloke, beside the river, rod out, line in the water.

I'm watching, trying to understand the health of our communication rivers at the moment.

To be honest, I'm rather worried by the number of turds I'm seeing float by at the moment and the old tyres and shopping trolleys (or should that be Amazon bubblewrap and £3.50 coffee cups and disposable plastic vapes.)

I am thankful that you are looking out for me / us here (thank you)......and rest assured, any fish (or turd) that I do catch, whilst fishing, will be carefully put back into the river after I have weighed and photographed it.

  • looks like a scam.

the best bet to get started in bitcoin is to set up a account on a exchange like coinbase or kraken... id have said binance too but they got into a spot of bother a while back and i am steering clear from them myself until they re-establish themselves to the laws and get acceptance.

you should never hand your details to anyone, making a account on a exchange is like making any account and you control it yourself. you control the coins in it and can exchange them for money any time and withdraw money any time giving you all the control. there never needs another person doing it for you or a third party. just you directly making a account yourself and doing things yourself. there never needs a person who calls you a client or manages clients lol you do everything yourself, and control it yourself... alot of crypto scams going around preying on the fact people dont know this and knowing people want to get into it.

  • Golly, Gee Wizz.  You are a kind entity Kiorksey.  Can you recommend how we autistic people should set up a bitcoin wallet?  Is there a particularly good and secure service with one particular business that you could recommend for us?  I certainly do need help to understand all these complications.  I really do need some help when it comes to bitcoin and everything like it.  It is such a minefield out there for a vulnerable person like me.

I hope to hear more from you about this topic.

  • That's my prose that is.

Pretty much word for word. Spelling mistake at the end looks like one of mine too.

BASTOS!! (well, not, actually, it revived my thread and I still have yet to figure out how I can anonymously accept and trade BTC. IF my bank let me accept store and covert it, I'd he O.K. with that, it's wideinng the circle of third parties involved in my transactions that I want to avoid, NOT hide the nature of my transaction form prying eyes.

I still have a great deal of RC gear left, I was setting up to do a business which failed on a technicality and I got stuck with a LOT of gear.

  • Hello 89776.  Yes, if you keep you eyes open, you get to see some fascinating stuff at "user interface" level.  I'm always trying to untangle "intuition" and "knowledge" and "common sense" (not just about spam and bots and whathaveyou) but about my perceptions in general.  There are definitely key words that attract spam bots like moths to a flame.  The title of this thread seems to snag quite a few.....but I've also run a few 'below the radar' tests.....I think I can probably summon a bot at will now.  Fascinating stuff....but not to be toyed with too much.  I have spoken to people who actually do know what their talking about, and they have advised considerable caution.

    Anyway, thanks for being interested.

  • you have to find a p2p sales for it... most exchanges now do p2p.
there was crypto visa cards before that you could put your crypto on and it converts to cash equivalent at point of sale and transacts with it, but i think the uk has too strict regulations on tax avoidance.... funny enough the eu allows that and doesnt seem to have as strict regulations on tax avoidance which kills remainers previous arguments on tax avoidance of the uk vs the eu...

  • Hello.

There is a thread, almost identical to this one - asking the same question about trying to adopt bitcoin anonymously - that was posted a couple of months ago.  Maybe use the search function to find it to see what everyone had to say.

It is weird.....the poster on that earlier thread was also hoping to sell radio control equipment, if my memory serves me right?!

  • Something to consider is that it is possible to have an electronic currency system which is designed to be anonymous. My old cryptography professor told me about this years ago. With the right number theory you can create a system of electronic tokens where a central exchange issues tokens in exchange for money that can then be modified in such a way that removes their identifiability But still leaves them in a state where they can be verified as genuine tokens.

these tokens can be given back to the central authority in exchange for money which adds the ‘serial numbers’ to the list so they can’t be reused. The important thing being that they can’t link those serial numbers back to the person they issued the token to.

  • I think the first thing to say is that bitcoin wasn’t really intended to be an anonymous currency. It is by its very nature designed to be a transparent ledger where everyone is aware of all of the transactions. However much like a Swiss bank account it is a ledger where you are identified by a number not a name. However if you intend to get bitcoin by using money from your bank account, or you want to convert bitcoin into money in your bank account, you are going to have to give someone your bank account details which will be identifying.

of course it would only be identifying if that party was willing to put that information in the hands of people who might be trying to track you. But if it really matters to you that that not be a possibility then you will have to find a bitcoin dealer who will deal in cash. To the best of my knowledge these are very difficult to find and are very very shady.

  • I'm really sorry, but what you have posted has caused me to chuckle. Laughing

Also, I know absolutely nothing about Bitcoin, so am afraid I can't help you there.
