Amazon Drone Deliveries

Personally, I never had issues with Amazon drivers; they're usually punctual, and well mannered, enough.

This is probably the US tail wagging the UK dog, as usual.

There's enough unemployment as it is, doing away with drivers' jobs (a real entry-level position as long as you have a driver's license) should be illegal. I hope the drones get shot down by bored local youths honestly.

There was a drone surveying a field here a few weeks ago. I have no idea how it compares to the proposed Amazon drone but in the countryside this one was loud. Totally freaked the dog out. I thought it was a helicopter at first, I'm near an air ambulance base so that's normal. I'm very sensitive to sound, eg next door's washing machine is too much for me! 

i guess it will cut alot of drivers jobs out. and probably some warehouse staff jobs too... so theres negative of cutting jobs down and making it less jobs out there and more unemployed people.

the positives, for them, they cut staff down, cut expenses down. they cut fuel down, they cut vehicle repair down, they can deliver fast without being stuck in traffic but i dunno about long distances though as drones are likely slower if they have to go long distance.

its likely easier for any random to shoot down the drone or interfere and steal the parcel without the amazon drone pilot or company able to stop the theft... but i dont think amazon cares about that as amazon have risked theft many times with their walk in and take items payless shop idea they had that supposedly auto charges you for anything you walk out with somehow.
