Preparing to go out

I'm going in to town today with my mum

:-/

But so I'm less anxious I always prepare lots in advance.

I know I'm going to be absolutely wrecked later on. The anxiety will get me and of course so will my CFS

I'm hoping I won't suffer mentally but it's a possibility sadly.

I've got my bag ready and in my bag is a bottle of water notebook and pencil banana hair brush bag of sweets torch batteries and one of my comfort bears ^^ just in case i need it

I've also put some sunglasses in as sometimes if it's too bright in shops I get overwhelmed and start to feel unwell.

From this side of things I am more than prepared.

Will I need all of that? Maybe not but at least I've got it just in case :—)

This morning I've walked Lily

I've had breakfast

I've had 2 glasses of water

And I've brushed my hair

I'm ready :-)

My mum says I think to much in to it but I think it's good to be prepared :)

  • I would agree with you. When things are more stressful to you than others, preparation helps me feel more secure and ready for it. And the satisfaction that you get when you actually need to use one of your contingency plans is amazing.

I'm still riding off the high of that one time when I brought spare bootlaces on a trip where I was doing a lot of walking and my bootlace broke. Very satisfying.

Do you have a time when your preparations turned out for the best?

Hope you have some fun in town with your mum.

  • Yes I do actually! :-)

One time we broke down because the car had a water leak and my carrying a bottle of water meant Dad could top it up - meaning he didn't have to call the AA and we could get home!

One point to me for being prepared lol xD

Preparation makes so much sense to me :)

That's awesome! ^^ whoo go you!

It always a good move having spares on you.
