This weeks "Film Night" Empire of Dirt.

Was rather interesting...

It's a fil freely available on "youtoob" and is about the ongoing efforts of chinese companies to build (Or repair) infrastructure in Africa.

Now I'm sure it won't sit well with some of you, but there ain't no political correctness there!

The Chinese and African bokes seem to have the measure of each other, and discuss each other strengths and weaknesses.

It was good to see the spirit of hope that the work seemed to be giving the people, and the one African politician underneath the posing seemed to be genuinely working hard for his PEOPLE.

Recommend that one.

  • Every night is film night for me, I spend a lot of free time watching films. Need it after all the working I've been doing, stress isn't in it. Sweat smile

Tonight's film for me was The Living Daylights, James Bond starring Timothy Dalton. He gets a bad rap but I liked his Bond era.

I don't think I've seen Empire of Dirt. Sounds an interesting film though.
