Since the thread, which began May 2021, seems to have vanished, I wish to create a new one.
From Darkness to Light.
1. I paid for a condensed tumble dryer, which I reserved on Tuesday; for delivery, tomorrow. Also paid for a three-year warranty. (In cash)
2. I made a poem, entitled 'Storm in a teacup', about the arrival of Agnes. (SEYMOUR!)
3. Bought more Farm-Fresh milk today.
Do you guys not know about old vehicle, operated by older drivers??
My 4.0 litre supercharged Jag was only 300 quid a year, (admittedly in 2014) and my Daimler of a similar capacity was only 265, last tiem I checked.
My 150+ MPH 1985 motorcycle I think was about 70 quid, but adding the second one then changing it adds 30 quid a time admin fees..
Get the RIGHT old vehicle, of course...
1. I had a day running errands.

I don't normally make this much for a lemonaid stand either. I think some things contributed to the success though.. 1) had little kids (the youngest was 5, the others were between 9 and 11, I was the only 16yro. People love giving money to little kids), 2) I held a colorful sign at the end of the neighborhood (I found out that more people come if you actually hold the sign vs leaving the sign by itself. But that's the reason I got sunburned), 3) being 'open' for 6hrs probably gave a lot of time for people to come back and/or tell their friends, 4) the price was good? I think the main reason for the money was because of the little kids... There was one point where they all ran away to play in a sprinkler so I had to run the stand by myself, there were 2 cas who came by but then didn't buy anything (I think because nobody wants to buy from a teen).
My neighborhood is a circle (it has 35 houses which is small for most neighborhoods where I live. The neighborhood right next to mine has 117 houses)
1. Put up an inflatable pool that my mom got from Target, and filled it with our new outdoor hot water spigot.
2. Went out for ice cream with Ruby.
3. Had a small meltdown- that wouldn't usually be a good thing, but it got the imposter syndrome completely out of my brain.
Wow, we never make that much when we do a lemonade stand! But I do live on a dead end... I wouldn't have it any other way, though. And the sky looks beautiful.
Thank you for the third thing :)
Rinse, and repeat!
All good.
