  • To quote someone's message, first select/highlight the relevant text, and then use the Quote button that appears
  • To "mention" someone, type @ followed by the start of the forum name, and choose from the list; that person will get a notification of being mentioned

Hi - sorry to ask a technical question but I don't know where else to post. Maybe I should email the forum community person? 

I am suddenly not getting any notifications on my NAS community page. I usually get a little red flag in the lightening bolt section top-right when someone responds to a thread I am on or started, but I haven't had anything in days. I've checked the individual posts and I DO have notifications on for them, so I'm a bit lost. 

My browser needed updating, so I have done that just in case it was causing an issue, but it hasn't solved it. Just a bit sad I am missing out on interesting chats that's all! 

Any hints/tips please post below. Thanks.

  • I have had the same problem for a few months. I've spoken to the community mods but we can't seem to work out what it is.

    I get notifications for private messages but not for replies.

    I've tried clearing history, cache and everything else but nothing has worked.

    Hmmm. I didn't get a notification for your reply, for instance, I just happened to check back. When I visit the main NAS website it's allllll messed up too, the whole page is out of whack. If someone described that to me I would say they're using an outdated browser, but that isn't the case here. My OS does need updating too....so maybe I'll do that. It needs doing regardless I suppose!
