Coding an app for autistic teens and adults to maintain friendships

I love coding apps and am autistic. Thought about coding an app for autistic users to help maintain and form better friendships and leave potentially unsafe ones -> not like a network, more so a roadmap for monitoring how each relationship develops after meeting the person.

How do you currently deal with maintaining friendships? I find it very difficult for obv reasons. Would you say an autistic mental health app is needed or not really helpful? Thanks!

  • It could be. There are a great deal of resources which have helped spell out the nature of being human, its limits and how to recognise someone safe vs toxic. But also how to grow into someone who is reliable and respectful can help us identify others who share the same motives.

Social issues tend to add a great deal of stress and something that spells how practical steps of building friendship or how to identify who is not being a friend can be incredibly game-changing.
