I read the page on Christmas & am curious now what you think of your birthday.

I don't like my birthday. I don't like the attention, I don't like that everyone comes round to see me & I hate the fact I'm getting older. I'm 17 next year & it's scary. I never feel like celebrating, I never see nothing to celebrate.

Birthdays & Christmas are things I wish the world lived without. It would be better for me if this was the case.

Parents

  • I don't tell anyone when my birthday is, I just don't like the attention.  Everyone says, "Have a nice birthday" -  "Have a nice birthday" (Yes, that's right, they say it twice!). then for the next few days the say  "Did you have a nice birthday?" and you are supposed to give some fictional account of how good it was.    Just like on that other annual event in the thread the mods have started.

    Mondays I think.. but Birthdays would do just as well...
