My 3 yr old son was diagnosed with Autism in May this year. I have now managed to get him into an assisted nursery 5 mornings a week. He still attends his mainstream nursery for two afternoons a week. He has been in the mainstream nursery since he was 1 for 2 full days a week. I was wondering if I could get a bit of feedback on people who's children have or are attending language and communication nurseries and if it helped their child. My son doesn't say any words but babbles all the time. We have had a few words but they come every now and again. Like every parent I'm so worried my wee one won't speak and I suppose I'm looking for hope through other people's experiences. We have been told our son has good eye contact, will gesture for what he wants but does have his own agenda.
