My friend's Sixtieth

My Artist friend will turn 60 on New Year's Day. For the past year, I touted on getting a Grade 2 Mobility Scooter, for then, plus a minivan; for me to transport it for him.

I decided to grab the bull by the horns, as my cleaner's husband never got back to me; about it. There's a place, outside Portadown, which sells used Mobility Scooters. If me, and my cleaner, could make a day of it, we can discuss it with the seller. I'll also have to let him know that it shall be a surprise gift.

Also, I asked a village Car Seller about getting a minivan; for the job. He's looking photos of what I want. Again, I'll mention it to my cleaner; to avoid being ripped off. Buying a vehicle on a classified ad NEVER worked, for me. I always got duds.

I also enquired about a cake; from a cake woman I know, via Nextdoor App. She says that she closes, for Christmas, at 21 December; not returning until 08 January. Plus, she demands a deposit for an order. Probably a catchpenny.

I want this to work out. Especially after phoning my friend forty minutes ago. He said that the waiting list for a Knee Operation is THREE AND A HALF YEARS. He has been on the waiting list, already, for TEN. It's called initiative, on my part.
