Are we allowed to do posts about external projects?

I've recently started a blog about birding, as that's one of my special interests, and I wondered if I'm allowed to post a link since I know others on here are also birders and may be interested.

What do we think, yes or no?

I think just post the link if you want and the worst that can happen is the link gets removed and you get a note from a mod. I don't see why it would be a problem though.
