I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, personally.  That's not to say I'd pooh pooh anyone who finds it has helped them.  We must all make our own decisions on that and experience of it varies wildly.  I know people, both NT and ND who swear by it, and others both NT and ND whose problems got massively worse with it.

Not a risk I am prepared to take.  I note a couple of BBC docs (Panorama and Disclosures) of late pointing out the reasons to be cautious with anti-depressants because of the side effects and difficulties stopping them.  But still, some do say they can be life saving.

What troubles me though is the heavy duty pressure, bullying almost, by some medical professional try to apply to make you take them.  They treat you like a naughty school girl who doesn't want to help herself if you tell them you aren't prepared to take them.  That I think is inexcusable.
