What medication helps you if at all? I have ADHD and Autism but do not take anything for ADHD and an SSRI for anxiety/ depression.

  • I'm on quite a lot of medication, it's mostly for physical stuff though. I take sertraline for my anxiety and it does seem to help- I feel as though it helps me to figure out which bits of my anxiety are due to GAD and which are due to being autistic. If it doesn't go away when I'm on the meds, then it's an autism thing and I need to figure out a way to manage it- for example, Christmas continues to be stressful whether I'm medicated or not, so I know the problem is actually the change to my routine and I can then try to keep as many things the same as possible.
