Why was my topic erased?

The one called (Rant) ...What exactly IS "social media"? from Mental health and wellbeing.

Someone flagged it as spam, but I don't think it is. I was just explaining a problem, that's all. I put so much wording and effort in it too, and all that for nothing? That doesn't help me.

For your original question, I guess things are whatever most people think of them as. If the majority of people on DA think it should only be for sharing of art then thats kinda how it is. And if there are a bunch of people who, like you, see that art sharing as part of it but not the whole thing, you're all entitled to use it that way and try to ignore people being critical.

I couldn't really offer any help in terms of places that would be best for you to have the kinds of social interactions you're looking for though. Sorry.
