Things you do in a particular way

Hoping I am starting a light hearted discussion. I used to have various coloured socks and always matched my socks to my outfits. When I needed new ones I decided to buy navy and black as I already had various shades of brown. I thought this might make things simpler. Now if I want navy or black I can spend ages trying to work out which is which as I still match the most suitable colour. I wish I had stuck to different colours that are easily distinguishable.

Do others have things they do in a particular way?

  • I don't do it quite so much now, but I used to be rather particular about ensuring the socks I wore were colour coordinated with my clothing. As an example, if I had been wearing a red top and navy trousers, then my socks would need to be predominantly red or navy too, or feature both colours (i.e. red and navy striped socks).
