Hi - my son's an adult now + still doesn't tell me about his day. He may mention something in passing, especially if it's upset him! He compartmentalises a lot of things. We can get a few short responses if we ask specific questions. How do you ask the question? It can be a big question to answer - a lot went on in the school day, what to say, what to miss out etc? Also he may not be able to interpret some parts of his day. He may not be clear in his own mind about certain things, so how to tell you when he doesn't know himself? His brain may not be filtering what we regard as important from the trivial. You could certainly try Intense's suggestions.
