Not as big as that, but we once had a really large, unusually large, Siamese tomcat (seal point). He would greet me by walking his forepaws up me when I came in the house. He could easily reach mid-chest. He was very strong and utterly fearless, and would chase even large neighbourhood dogs.

Unfortunately, he was quite adept at hunting, he would bring dead rodents and shrews, and live birds into the house.

A blackbird is a surprisingly large bird, when it is perched on a cupboard in the kitchen!
I once had two blackbirds fly into my house at the same time. It was very challenging trying to persuade them to leave and they did make a mess on the top of my cupboards!
I was going on holiday and had left the door open while I loaded my luggage into the car. Luckily I realised they were in there when I returned to lock up. I dread to think what would have been the outcome if they'd been left in the house for a week or more
