What’s your safe place?

I would probably have to say my room as it is where I spend all my time as I can’t really go anywhere else, however I do sort of miss my old schools library where I would go to do work during lesson time. It was quiet and had a great corner with a chair that blocked peripheral view and it just made me feel really calm.

If i had to think of another place that feels safe I would probably say a countryside cottage. Not a specific one I just love the countryside and cottages- especially when they have ‘quirks’ from being old I think they’re just lovely.

  • Mine is my study.

It's a quiet room, mostly dark because by the time the sun gets round to it it's starting to set and because it's full of hundreds of books, has art hanging from the walls and there's soft chairs to sit on.

I can read, look at art, listen to music or simply just sit and think. This is my go to room and where I spend most of my time.
