What’s your safe place?

I would probably have to say my room as it is where I spend all my time as I can’t really go anywhere else, however I do sort of miss my old schools library where I would go to do work during lesson time. It was quiet and had a great corner with a chair that blocked peripheral view and it just made me feel really calm.

If i had to think of another place that feels safe I would probably say a countryside cottage. Not a specific one I just love the countryside and cottages- especially when they have ‘quirks’ from being old I think they’re just lovely.

  • its always gonna be a persons room. to me though its my flat because i own my flat and its my entire personal space locked away from the rest of the world.

when i lived in my parents it was my bedroom, but that was sometimes violated by my invasive father who didnt like me staying at theirs and wanted me gone and even went through my room and changed everything to another room at one point.

but yeah my flat is perfect, my space, no one can touch it, i can install as many locks on every single door as i want and ensure everyone else is locked out of my own space.
