Rights whilst waiting for assesment?

Hi my name is Nina and my 10yo daughter is on the waiting list for an assessment. Does she have any rights relating to meeting her needs even though we haven't had a formal diagnosis yet?

I think that all children should be having their needs met in an educational setting - autism diagnosis or not. Is there something in particular that your daughter is struggling with? Are you in touch with the Senco at your daughters school?
