I am wanting some help researching my 1980's race bike.
Is there anyone out there who'd be interested in helping me out with this?
I think it might be a bit of a challenge, because I've tried given the bike, it's make and model and the name of the guy who built my engine and drawn a bit of a blank so far part from learning that my engine builder was so sucessful people copied his mods...
I want to know more about my bike, it's been exceptionally faithful and fast for the last twenty or so years in my hands, and its restoration time,..
Currently it's getting some (but not all) of the mechanical work it needs, but I've decided to rebuild the "spares ship" first then return and do it properly on my bike, by which time I hope I'll have found out a bit more about how it looked at it's greatest time in it's racing career.
Anyone who steps up will at some point need to exchange messages via P.M. for privacy reasons.
Oh, and Film Night This week will be "red planet".
I see no point in giving it its own thread this week, I've been doing this every week since January, and to my utter surprise, no-one from here ever attends! (even when they show interest and ask questions, I thought it'd really appeal to some of you..)
