I think they are not only possibly the cutest animals on the planet but they are also very adventurous and interesting. I love pandas!

I suppose, if we're going by species here, on the basis of "general interest favourite"....I suppose....Tardigrades.....aka water bears.

Also, that picture of the Tardigrade is quite fascinating, in such a weird and wonderful way.
