I have recently been diagnosed with ASD. I wonder how would it be to have Autistic friends. Would we be able to connect more?

Hi, 

I am Aisha, 23 years old. I am Autistic. Before that, I did not have an idea about it. I am curious to meet a person who is Autistic just as I am. I'm looking to learn and meet someone who can understand. Since I have always felt different around others. I wonder how it would feel not to feel too different.

Let me know what you think, did you get a chance to meet more Autistic people when you got diagnosed?

    I've been diagnosed with AHDH and am quite certain I have autism too. Like you, I've never felt like I could fit in the world, but since researching ASD in women, everything has begun to make sense in my life. 

    im 20 and turning 21, so would like to meet other neurotypicals.
