Anything official

I have a great fear of officialdom.  I currently have over a month's post waiting to be opened as I know I will have to deal with things which are uncomfortable, difficult to understand and people, who have no patience or understanding.  I used to have a volunteer who helped me with this, but now I have had to move house, I am once again on my own. Why did the volunteer stop?  You could go to Citizen's Advice to ask for help with your post maybe?

Another option is to ask your council for an assessment of need as an adult with a disability if you haven't already had this, and see what they can come up with.

I have a problem with post too.  Junk mail stresses me out for one.  My main thing is that I seem to have a huge anxiety opening them and I manage to miss important blocks of text in letters, which means if I don't go back and re-read them a few times I can get the "wrong end of the stick" about the content.

I think many of us have issues with post, but being unable to open it at all is not good so you do need to seek support with this before it spirals out of control and you end up with problems from not having opened important things.
