What's your fave stim?

Mine is clapping my hands and tapping my toes on the floor.

  • I answered this question a bit flippantly earlier. However, I have so many stims I never even considered one being a “favorite”. But one of my mainstays is one where I count out my age in my head clandestinely with a little tactile input from fingers, toes, tongue against the front teeth…..ect. I can do or keep that going whenever I don’t want people to notice. Which is most of the time. A problem I run into is as I get older the numbers become much larger and the time it takes to longer. So I developed shortcuts like counting in multiples or using touch and thought to just represent the number. That’s just one of many. I think they’re all there to quell some sort of anxiety or block or lessen thoughts I don’t want think about. Idk…That probably sounds like a very strange stim if it is even a stim. I could just be odd.
