When I was a really little kid I loved horses. I used to go to my aunt and uncles farm every day at 1 point just to see the horses and spent hours with them.
Because of my love of horses 1 Xmas my mum and dad got be a book all about horses. I've still got it now and do still read it. I can remember spending so many hours reading this book from start to finish and then all over again.
My first and favourite book. I could never get rid of it. It means way to much to me.

I think because I was such an early library user, most of my early reads would have been from there.
This was the first one I remember loving so much that I borrowed it again and again...
Also, this one...
Though my mum tells me I was reading Dr Seuss books before that.
Things like the meg and Mog books and Prince What-a-Mess also would have been early ones. As for a first owned book in the house, I'd have to think about that...
I asked for and got this one Christmas, I never really identified with other children, much preferred either being with adults or alone. I thought the best way to try and be like other children was to get a handbook. I turns out others aren’t as interested in facts and figures as I thought. The book was always in my school bag.
