The Random Photos Thread.

Random photo of a churchyard. I thought it looked peaceful but creepy when I was there. I wouldn't want to be there at night.

I love cemetery photos, they are peaceful places to visit, if one is not frightened, unfortunately several family members are scared to visit the haunted old sections of cemeteries.  

I have visited my parents graves in foggy weather and in the snow and at dusk.  Great creepy atmosphere.

What a great photo.  The mist makes it look eerie, like there may be something or, someone lurking.

That's beautiful. On a related tangent, when I went to pick out a piano for my new house in 2021 I drove to this remote rural house where they had the business round the back. It was a really hot summer day, but getting on toward evening. There was a kind of hazy mist in the air, golden light. And as I parked up I realised I was in a piano cemetary - the ones they hadn't been able to restore, sitting around outside like tombstones, in various states of fading gandeur. 

I regret not photographing this hazy, slightly surreal scene. The conditions were perfect to capture something pretty unique.
