Combining interests

Thats so lovely!

I love books about the history of football in a country where it also kind of tells the history of the country through football as well if that makes sense. It combines 3 of my interests, football, history and learning about other countries 

I cross-stitched a map of the Discworld once and I'd like to do one of Middle Earth as well. I also stitch anatomy and space things.

I loved that they released the soundtrack for Guardians of the Galaxy on tape when that came out, unfortunately I didn't have anything to play a tape on otherwise I would have got it, the sound quality is as you say very nostalgic.

I’m a bit of an addict! Started listening to them on 14th Oct 2007 so a bit of an early adopter. Back iPod days. Crazy that we’re now into the time of nostalgia for those! Though there’s layers to that. Was listening to an actual cassette tape earlier via walkman. The hiss and clunky stop and play were like old friends rediscovered. 

He gets me which is great.

I've never really got on with podcasts for some reason, or at least I haven't found one yet that has really grabbed me, but I can understand the enjoyment of thorough analysis of something like Doctor Who.

Doctor Who podcasts is the first one that comes to mind for me. Real deep dive stuff and a kind of nerd equivalent of the supplementary punditry that goes with sports and the like.
