Combining interests

The Lego birds are great.

I love listening to music, so that's any easy thing to combine. Going for a 4-5 hour walk through fields and woods and whatever is really nice, but with my headphones on and music I love playing it's 10 times better. And the fact that part of my brain is occupied with moving around makes it easier to really get into the music compared to if I'm just sitting down.

If I'm somewhere where there are less people and more nature I like to listen to the sounds around me, I love identifying the birds and listening to the wind in the trees, or the sound of water.

Nah, if music is your thing don't sacrifice that, just like birds are mine so music in those circumstances doesn't work for me. On the other hand, make me drive anywhere or go where there's lots of people, and I have to have music!

I guess as cool as that is, I'm not sure I could sacrifice my best music listening time for that. Aside from maybe 10-15 minutes between albums I might take off my headphones. Maybe next time I go I'll give your way a go for an hour.
