Dolls house!!

Hi everyone Wave for the last few days I’ve been obsessively researching everything dolls house related and have just bought my first one online (so will have to wait to get it) but I am so excited for my new hobby!! It’s a shop so I’ll have the pleasure of decorating it everywhere and then filling it with lots of little pieces!

Does anyone else enjoy dolls houses? Please tell me about yours if so :)

  • You just reminded me of something I hadn’t thought of in years: this mostly charming though somewhat melancholy series from the 1980s: lots of doll house detail and cute stop motion doll characters and Oliver Postgate’s (or is it Peter Firmin’s) soothing narration.

    In the next episode one of the main characters burns to death, pretty sure nobody saw that coming! But this one is death free. So you can just enjoy the dollhouse ambience and slight existential crisis vibes the sweet wee dolls are understandably experiencing on a minute to minute basis.
