Hello to everyone. I hope you're all doing ok. I am a 55 year old woman and my GP thinks that I have ASD and I'm going through the referral process. I am sure the waiting list is horrific... Yet I don't think I can afford a private referral. My symptoms have worsened since the menopause and I understand that studies are emerging to support this. I feel rather out at sea, to say the least and would welcome any advice you're able to offer please? It is a bolt out of the blue yet when I read more about ASD it all fits and is helping me reframe my life. I've had rather a bumpy ride and have always felt "different"... Thank you for your help and advice.
