Les Miserables

I love Les Miserables and saw the original staging 15 times. I thought the film was ok but didn't love it. I am now trying to decide if I can bear to see the new staging of it without the revolving barricade. 

Has anyone seen it yet ? What did you think ?

  • I'm not generally a musicals guy, but I think it's pretty phenomenal. My dad used to have the Colm (or is it Colin?) Wilkinson-starring version of the stage show on DVD or VHS or something, and played it through fairly regularly. Goosebumps from some of those songs. I kind of agree about the film, not bad overall but I'm allergic to Eddie Redmayne for some reason I can't quite explain, he just irks me.
