When suffering in the deep dark depths of depression and anxiety I do different things to try and get through those horrible periods - music, has helped, from time to time but my therapist recently suggested listening to talking, people talking in other accents. I've been doing this for the last four weeks, promising so far, it seems to be helping. So, what is your favourite accent? Mine is Italian, Australian, French, Irish and British, old cockney British that is.
Where do I start? 
It's impossible for me to choose a favourite because there are a variety of different accents I'm rather fond of...
I like some of the regional Welsh, Scottish, and Irish accents. I find the Yorkshire accent appealing, along with the Cheshire, Derbyshire, and Staffordshire accents. Then there's the Gloucestershire and West Country accents, and also English accents that are a blend of Estuary English and Received Pronunciation.
Finally, I find West Indies accents appealing, along with many European accents.
