What's your favourite accent?

When suffering in the deep dark depths of depression and anxiety I do different things to try and get through those horrible periods - music, has helped, from time to time but my therapist recently suggested listening to talking, people talking in other accents. I've been doing this for the last four weeks, promising so far, it seems to be helping.                       So, what is your favourite accent? Mine is Italian, Australian, French, Irish and British, old cockney British that is.

  • I quite like the South African accent as it is one that I can easily imitate, which I enjoy doing a lot. I guess being part South African makes it easier for me

The Scouse (Liverpool) accent is one of my favourites and is, to put it bluntly, hot!

I quite like all northern accents tbh, they have so much characther. and the old school cockney London accent which you don't hear very much anymore

  • Love the Liverpool accent and Scouser men are hotties - I once passed through Holyhead with a group of middle aged women (they all knew I was gay) and there was this 6 foot bald-headed Welsh policeman (total hottie) checking passports - we were all drooling over him but it turned out later on that he was gay and his boyfriend was a policeman in Manchester City Centre in my old store
