Where can you unmask?

I've found that I need to mask mostly all the time. But I noticed that some places require more masking than others, like if I'm in town in a supermarket that requires me to mask fully and I feel exhausted by the time I'm outside again, usually a little dizzy with it. At home I still need to mask, there's always people who judge and keep talking to me, so the mask stays on. I can only mask really when I'm at home in my room or music room, those are the only places I'm left alone so no masking required.

I'm very tired because of all the masking and that made me look at this and think of where I don't need to mask. I only have two places.

  • I'm my bedroom is where I can unmask completely. In my husband's den, if it's just him about. The rest of the time, it's small snatches in quiet moments, like in the kitchen to make tea (at work and at home) and I've noticed I'm not masking now at the cigarette counter in the supermarket. I'm met usually with the warmest smiles. Like you though Jess, only 2 actual places. No wonder I'm burnt out.
