Hi all
Due to a particularly bad year at school my 10 yr son who has autism has lost all confidence. Going from a boy who would go down to school and stand in line with the rest of his class and go in quite happily he now has to be taken in the main door where he needs to be met by one of his support teachers and some mornings needs to be prized away from me.
At home he used to quite happily go out and meet his friends but now he is very reluctant to leave the house or garden. The same goes at his martial art where he would happily take part even tho there were new people comin into the class and now he sits in the changing room scared to come out. I have now spoken to him re his class and think we are going to pull him out from it.
Any suggestions on how to re build his confidence at home and at school would be very much appreciated.
