Weekend Plans

I was wondering what people were doing this weekend and it looks as though a forum has already been created - thank you, Trisha!

Tomorrow I am playing video games with my partner in the day. The rest of the weekend I'll do some chores, prepare for the week, read, study Japanese and maybe have a bath with one of my bath bombs!

That sounds good. I went to church with my Gran for years until she couldn't walk as well anymore. Enjoy have fun. 

Sounds a quiet weekend. Quiet is good. I wish I could do what you're doing tomorrow. 

This one was nice and quiet, thankfully!

I came home with a bag full of cross stitch kits, which should keep me busy for a while. To be honest I think going on the Tube was harder on me than the event was!

Sunday is the most important day for me, as after going to Confession on the Saturday afternoon, I always attend the Traditional Sunday Mass in Latin as a traditional Catholic - if it’s a nice day, after lunch I’ll go to a local park and sometimes I’ll pray the Rosary in Latin with a group of friends from our church 

A boring weekend for me.  Today, walk to supermarket to buy food.  Binge watching 'Are you being served' on DVD.  Reading a Calculus book, section on applications of vector differentiation. Spending rest of day in bed.

Sunday, plan is ... The same?

That does sound fun. I hope you're enjoying the train journey home. I love going on trains if they aren't overcrowded.

Sounds like a plan

That sounds fun! Did you bring home any treasures or ideas? Events like that are so overstimulating I'm not surprised you'll need a rest, not sure if I could cope with one these days.

I went to the Stitch Festival (a craft exhibition) in London today- I'm currently on the train home. It was busier than I'd expected but going on my own meant I didn't have to talk to anyone for more than 5 minutes at a time and I could rest and leave whenever I wanted. I definitely need to lie down for the rest of the weekend now though!

Maybe a quick walk outside will help lift any anxiety that's attacking you and then you can go back in and put your feet up, have a nice warm bath to ease tension.

That's interesting. The book i'm reading says singing bowls alter brain waves and studies have shown they can lower blood pressure and the stress hormone cortisol. 

I feel deeply relaxed right now. I'm going to be skint soon though because i've just ordered another one haha

I've been reading mostly so far today. I did pop out first thing and bought some books from the charity shop, including an IL Divo biography book and Michael Caine's autobiography - The Elephant To Hollywood.  He's one of my favourite actors so I think his autobiography will be an interesting read. 

The rest of the weekend will be dedicated to watching Doctor Who

That sounds nice. Your singing bowls look wonderful. Not at all the same thing, but I occasionally hit the edge of a ceramic cereal bowl with a wooden spoon and it gives a pleasingly soft but resonant meditation bell sound. When I need to clear my thoughts for just a second it can help. 

The hours just fly by here as you can tell! 

My weekends and weekdays are quite similar. I'll be using my singing bowls, meditating, going for walks. Having roast chicken and vegetable soup for my OMAD later. I received a letter from an old friend this morning so i might reply to that. My lawn needs cutting but it's raining so might not get that done. Might do some litter picking this afternoon 

No plans as such. A tidy up of the house (it’s not messy just needs upkeep) and podcasts and hopefully some reading. Maybe a walk if I can make myself cross the door, though after a week of work I’m disinclined to. Might help take the edge of my anxiety though.
