Interesting Unusual Items

What interesting and unusual items do you own? My Mum says I have a lot of interesting and unusual items.

I think specific she was meaning my collection of these:::

  • Old clocks.
  • Maps.
  • Ladies cigarette cases.
  • Vintage photographs.

I don't think they're unusual but I do agree they are interesting.

They are too me anyway.

  • Colliery bricks. These are old bricks produced by collieries as an adjunct to their coal mining. The name of the colliery is impressed into the brick during manufacturing. My favourite reads WHITWICK COLLIERY, which is from the Leicestershire coal field, probably late 19C. I can’t seem to get the post editor to access my photo library otherwise I’d include a picture, they are lovely things.
